3. Loktak Lake

It is the largest fresh water lake in North-East India. It is also the only floating lake in the world. In the lake, you will see floating islands which are home to an endangered deer species called Sangai.

4. Wular Lake

5. Vembanad Lake

Location: Kerala

It is the largest lake in Kerala. And you will surely remember the name when we tell you that the lake is the venue for the world famous snake boat races.

6. Pushkar Lake

Location: Rajasthan

Pushkar as we all know is one of the oldest heritage cities in this world. And it becomes extra special due to the Pushkar Lake. The lake has a massive 52 Ghats and 500 temples on its banks.
