They created quite a steam in Once Upon A Time in Mumbai in the year 2010. Now, they are going to be paired once again in a biopic on Mohammad Azharuddin being made by Tony D’Souza. Bingo, we are talking about Emraan Hashmi and Prachi Desai in Azhar biopic.
While we all know that Emraan has been picked to play Azhar, Prachi will be playing the life of Naureen, the first wife of former cricket captain Mohammad Azharuddin.
Emraan is spending much time with Azharuddin to understand him and his lifestyle. The team of Azhar has already begun the shoot schedule in London and the Rock On actress is looking forward to join the team soon.
Talking about her role in the movie, the actress said: “It will be quite challenging as I don’t think anybody knows much about Naureen yet. We know about her, but we don’t know her”. She also added: “It is challenging because for the first time, somebody is putting a face to her.”
Azhar has been produced by Ekta Kapoor and is scheduled for a May 13 release.
