The year is 1849, the time of our forefathers, and the end of one of the worst and most bloodiest battles for the British Army. Four years later, following the death of its beloved, powerful and undefeated Maharaja Ranjit Singh, the Lion emperor of the Five Rivers has finally fallen under the repeated attacks of the British Empire.

The fabled diamond the Koh-i-Noor, symbol of the Sikhs strength and pride, is stolen and brought to England. Recut and studded in Queen Victoria’s Crown as a symbol of British domination in India.
