We all have heard of this saying “Jack of all trades, Master of none”, haven’t we!  But there are some Khurkis who have not only defied this saying but also raised the bar of perfection as an all-rounder.

No, I’m not talking about RAJNIKANTH, but about AB de Villiers. This super talented and super cool cricketer is much more than we can imagine. Abraham Benjamin “AB” de Villiers was born on 17 February 1984 in South Africa. de Villiers became the second youngest and second fastest South African to reach 1000 test runs.

That’s what we all know about the cricketer AB de Villiers. But how many of know that he is not only adept at but perfects hockey, football, swimming, is an athlete, a rugby player, a tennis and a badminton player, is good at putting, can take up singing too as a profession if he wants and was also simultaneously good at studies. Phew! All this in one package and his name is not even RAJNIKANTH!

1 de Villiers was shortlisted for Junior National Hockey squad.

2 Villiers was shortlisted for Junior National Football squad.

3 He captained the South Africa Junior Rugby side.

4 AB de Villiers held six South African school swimming records.

5 AB de Villiers was the fastest 100-meter time in South Africa Junior Athletics.

6 de Villiers was a member of South Africa Junior Davis Cup Tennis Team.

7 He was a National Badminton U-19 Champion.
