Celebrations are celebrations till they are enjoyed. The moment you start getting uncomfortable with the way celebrations are happening, they will become something you want to end. I understand that it’s “bura na mano Holi hai” but still there are some things that I want from my dear ones to be careful about.

10 Don’t have alcohol and bhang

It’s not necessary to lose your senses to have fun. It’s better to be in your senses and have a safe and happy Holi.

9 Don’t force me to come out!

If I am not comfortable, then you shouldn’t force me to come out and play with you. If there’s no comfort, there’s no enjoyment.

8 Don’t get so involved that I get neglected!

Being neglected in a festival like Holi, that too when I see my brothers and friends playing and enjoying would break my heart. So all the brothers, keep this in mind.

7 Don’t throw water at me

I might have some problem…or I might not like to get wet and if I prefer dry colours, you should support me there.

6 Don’t throw colour at me if I am going out

I might have dressed up properly to go somewhere out for an urgent work and in this case, if you throw colour I will get late and I will have to trash that dress which I don’t want.

5 Be more protective and caring

In a crowd, when there are drunken people, I will surely need you by my side.

4 Come to my place to play Holi

If you want to be sweet to me, come to my place so that I can have that fun too – in a safer environment.

3 Play decent Holi with colours

Don’t make it a messy and dirty festival by using grease and eggs or mud. It’s a festival of colours, so play it decently.

2 Don’t do something that’s not acceptable

Sometimes, fun crossed its limits and becomes vulgar. So maintain limits of enjoyment.

1 Don’t enter my room till you are clean and dry

I don’t like a dirty and messy room. And you make sure that you will not enter my room in your drenched and dirty clothes.
