J.K. Rowling Cast Black Hermione For Harry Potter Play!

Based on an original new story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is a new play by Jack Thorne. It is the eighth story in the Harry Potter series and the first official Harry Potter story to be presented on stage.

In this ministry of magic, news broke that it would be Noma Dumezweni, a black actress who would play the role of Hermione Granger in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Hogwart’s smartest student was played by Emma Watson, a white actress.

Lots of intense discussion was made following this decision for Harry Potter Play, some disagree with the choice and other stood by the decision.
