Chamba Youth drowns in Manji river at Chaitru

Shimla, June 26: An 18-year-old youth drowned in Manji river at Chaitru. The deceased Raj Kumar belonged to Grolah village in Chamba district.
He reportedly went to bathe in the river, along with another youth. Firemen recovered the body, which was sent to Zonal Hospital, Dharamsala, for a postmortem examination.
The police have initiated investigation under Section 174 of the CrPC. Raj Kumar was reportedly staying with his relatives and had come to Dharamsala to get admission in a graduation course.
