Sri Naina Deviji MLA is Randhir Sharma. He is son of Shri Krishan Lal Sharma. He was born on 23rd June, 1963 at Guruka-Lahore, Distt. Bilaspur. He is a Post Graduate in English, LL.B, and Diploma in Personnel Management. He is married to Smt. Rekha Sharma.

Constituency Represented

Naina Devi is a municipal council in Bilaspur district in the state. As of the 2001 Census, Naina Devi had a population of 1161. Males constitute 63% of the population and females 37%. Naina Devi has an average literacy rate of 81%, higher than the national average of 59.5%; male literacy is 84%, and female literacy is 75%. In Naina Devi, 11% of the population is under 6 years of age.

Political Standing

As Organizing Secretary, ABVP, Randhir Sharma in Jammu & Kashmir worked for inculcating a spirit for social service & patriotism and respect for national culture and civilization among students. And he encouraged the youth for blood donation by organizing blood donation camps and by personally donating blood nine times. He was President, State BJYM; Secretary, State Bharatiya Janata Party; Spokesperson, State Bharatiya Janata Party and Vice-Chairman, State Small Saving Advisory Board, 1998-2003. He elected to State Legislative Assembly in 2007 from Kot-Kehloor Assembly Constituency, which after delimitation was renamed Sri Naina Deviji. He remained Member, Public Undertakings and Subordinate Legislation Committees during 2008-2012. Re-elected to the State Legislative Assembly in December 2012. He won by a margin of 1385 votes. Ram Lal Thakur of Congress was the trailing candidate.
