Jaspreet Singh Nagpal, a Sirsa-based industrialist whose son Sartaj Singh Nagpal is captain of under-15 hockey team of Lawrence School, Sanawar, said the children returned to the host school in Gotan by taking a bus and are now staying there with no clarity about when they will be able to return.

“The children had left for Gotan from their school to participate in ITSC Under-15 Hockey Tournaments held in LK Singhania School, Gotan from August 22 to 24. Teams from 11 schools participated. While students of schools located in other parts of the country left for their destination without any problem, those from Sanawar, Patiala, Mohali and Nabha are stuck now. While YPS Mohali children have left with children of Mayo College, Ajmer and we do not know where have they reached, those of the other three schools are stuck at Gotan,” he said.
