Yes! I am single and I have no qualms in admitting this. My current status is happy without boyfriend!
There is nothing wrong with being single, but sometimes I do wonder what would it be like to have someone special to share my world with? At a time when majority of my friends are settling down, falling in love or moving in with their boyfriends, I felt I was being left behind. Never before have I felt more that I need to be in a relationship.
But when I see a lot of relationships not working out and hearts breaking, I assure myself that I am better off being single.
And what I have realised is that it’s not such a bad thing to wait, to find out who you are first before committing to someone. There are many other reasons too for not having a boyfriend that many of you single ladies would relate with.
Thinking about pros and cons too much
Will it work, won’t it! Can I do this?
I have been in relationship before
I am busy
I can’t keep up with another person and giving them attention is only going to make me more busy and stressed out.
Don’t feel like moving on from my last relationship
Don’t want to be trapped or abandoned again.
I want my ex to come back
I know he will never come back. But I m still waiting 🙁
I want to hang out with my friends only
When you’re in a relationship, it’s difficult to balance time between your beau and friends. I want to hang out with my friends. Like all the time.
I like my freedom
As a single girl, I have the freedom to go with whoever I please. And I like that.
Want to focus more on myself than others
I am my favourite!
I am scared
I know there is no love for any of us without considerable risk, but don’t want to get hurt again.
It’s better to get married to person of my parents’ choice
All I am seeking is love, chemistry, mutual understanding and a spark. Don’t mind if I get it from my parents’ choice.
