There is a buzz in b-town that Ranbir Kapoor and Imtiaz Ali are open to working together once again. If reports are to be believed, Ranbir will share screen space with Alia Bhatt in this forthcoming project.
“Ranbir with Katrina-Deepika has become a predictable pair. He never cared who his heroine was. In Rockstar, Imtiaz cast a completely out-of-depth Nargis Fakhri with Ranbir. Imtiaz’s next will feature Ranbir with Alia for the first time.” said a source.
Incidentally, Ranbir’s best friend Ayan Mukerji has cast Ranbir-Alia in his super-hero film. But the future of that project is at the moment, uncertain.
Though the near ones of Alia have denied of any such project for the actress. Also, a very close associate of Imtiaz who works with him on project basis on a creative level and was deeply involved in the making of Tamasha, said, “Ranbir-Alia in Imtiaz’s next and Shah Rukh Khan turning down Imtiaz’s film, these are all mere conjectures.”
He further said, “The picture of Ranbir and Alia that is being used for this story about them coming together in Imtiaz’s film, was shot when Ranbir did some interviews of Imtiaz and Alia for a television channel during the promotions of Highway.” Imtiaz, Ranbir and Alia were not available for comments.
Incidentally, Alia is likely to be seen with Ranbir in Ayan Mukerji’s next which is a super-hero film to be released in 2017. Her other films that will hit the screens in 2016, include Abhishek Choubey’s,Udta Punjab and Shakun Batra’s, Kapoor and Sons. She will also start Gauri Shinde’s film with Shah Rukh Khan next year. Jagga Jasoos and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil are two of Ranbir’s releases next year.
Don’t know about others but I am pretty excited to see Ranbir romancing Alia on the big screen..if at all the reports are true!
