Lying is something that all of us do some time or the other. But there are more damaging lies that we tell ourselves every day to bring a change in us. While these lies may provide temporary comfort, they can actually prevent us from realizing our full potential and achieving life goals.
Reality check time. I did it and here is a list of all those lies that I tell myself every day…..
I am going to start gym class tomorrow
And every day comes with its tomorrow.
Today, I will go to bed on time
And I will try not to break this promise.
I have to be perfect, will try to drink as much water I can
Oops forgot to carry my bottle. Will try tomorrow.
No unnecessary amount of alcohol this week
But this week will have weekend and weekend will have a Saturday and that’s when I will lose!
Coming weekend, I’ll tide up my wardrobe
But weekends are for party. Doesn’t matter…next weekend!
No carbs any more
But what if my calling for life is “Chicken-Cheese Burger”?
No Facebook, Instagram, Twitter on my phone in bed!
And then charge my phone enough for the me time!
I will note down all my expenses and will try to spend less
What to do when a beautiful dress is calling you out!
Okay!! I am serious this time…
And I will follow it for another half an hour!
In the end, you are like…ummmm there’s always a next time
And that’s when I speak my heart out!
