Yoga is supposed to rejuvenate your soul and boost your body. But what happens when you do it incorrectly and end up doing more damage than repair.

1. Too much of Pranayam and Kapalbhati can damage your lungs

2. Pregnancy and yoga not such a good idea

If you think you can maintain your figure even during pregnancy, in imitation of the likes of Kim Kardashian, please wake up. Pregnancy is the most beautiful period in a woman’s life. Enjoy it! Keep yoga limited to breathing exercises only.

Pranayam and Kapalbhati when done in excess can put immense pressure on the abdomen and harm people who have had a recent surgery.

4. Yoga postures can cause high blood pressure

You either do it correctly or you don’t do it all. After all it’s your body and your life. If you push your body more than it can handle it will backfire and cause problems like high blood pressure.

Yoga is supposed to create a flow and harmony in your body. But if you forget to breathe while doing it, you are actually wasting your time.

You cannot do yoga after a meal or when constipated. It’s not a laxative to clear your bowels. It’s an ancient science. Please respect it.
