Team of PAWsitive channel has come up with an amazing video which clearly shows how good karma pays off.
Lisa Snyder had fallen on hard times when she discovered Joey, a sweet Pointer mix, tied to a tree and abandoned in Point Fermin Park in San Pedro, CA. Lisa was living in her inoperable van with three pet cats.
Lisa called up the authorities but it was of no use, as it was quite late. Leaving the dog at its fate was the only option she was left with. But her faith and love for animals made her help Joey.
She chose the tough option of a three-mile walk to a shelter home, while her medical problems made the walk painful. But she didn’t quit and kept walking even without her walking stick and jacket.
By morning, she made it to the shelter. Forte Animal Rescue stepped in and provided medical and adoption resources to re-home Joey.
And when Karma paid off!
The community of San Pedro heard about Lisa’s selflessness and started raising funds to help her. They generated $3500 with which she got her van repaired and……
