‘Hitman Agent 47’ Hits Average Performance. Watch At Your Own Risk!

Hitman Agent 47 is a 2015 American action thriller film directed by Aleksander Bach and written by Skip Woods and Michael Finch.

It is based on the Hitman video game series, developed by IO Interactive, and its main character is a mysterious assassin known only as Agent 47.

Genetically engineered from conception to be the perfect killing machine, he’s the culmination of decades of research, endowed with unprecedented strength, speed, stamina and intelligence.

Agent 47’s (Rupert Friend) latest target is a corporation that plans to unlock the secret of his past to create an army of killers even more powerful than him. With help from a young woman, the elite assassin confronts revelations about his own origins in an epic battle with his deadliest foe.

The film stars Rupert Friend, Hannah Ware, Zachary Quinto, Ciarán Hinds, Thomas Kretschmann, and Angelababy.

As per international reviews, not much work or effort was put into this movie and it’s almost an insult to the Hitman game franchise. Rating: Below average.

And the comments:

Michael Townley: Why is Agent 47 not using silencers on his silverballers?

Mangaas: Calling this Hitman is the punchline to a bad joke.

Kai Yahya: Im seriously wondering when they filmed this. I DIDN’T EVEN KNOW ITS BEING FILMED IN SINGAPORE UNTIL I SAW THE TRAILER.

qwertyMrJINX : You’re basing it off Absolution, really? And all these explosions? Listen, Hitman is based on spy movies, old school 007 and the like, so to make a good Hitman movie, you simply need to make a good spy movie, and cast David Bateson in the lead role. There ya go. Instant success. You’re welcome.
