But these two lists are mismatching with the two supplementary lists available with the four assistant returning officers, revealed officials. As per the May 5 list, Krishna Nagar, a reserved ward, has 3,831 voters, the highest in the city, while newly constituted ward Upper Dhalli has just 814 voters, the lowest number.

“We have asked the commission to include all voters”, said Sanjay Chauhan, Shimla Mayor. ADM protocol Suneel Sharma said they would remove all mismatch in two supplementary voters as there was some addition and subtraction in a few cases in these supplementary lists.

“We will rectify it by evening and the final list will be sent to the four assistant returning officers”, he added. He said they had made all preparations for filing of nominations starting tomorrow. The commission has directed the returning officer to include the supplementary list prepared prior to May 5 finalised by the commission as per direction of the High Court, said secretary to the state election commission, Dr Ashwani Sharma.
