They say love is blind! And this holds absolutely true for a woman in love, who will go to all limits to get the love of her man. There have been many B-Town Divas who wanted to take the plunge at any cost. They even chose to change their religion in order to get married to their man. But we wonder if these marriage are fine examples of love or compromise or are they just another way to prove how truly you love somebody.

This lovely actress from down south also converted to Christianity from Hinduism, but not for the love of a man but for the love of God. She says there is and will be only one superstar in her life and that is Jesus Christ. She even wants to spend the rest of her life preaching the gospel.

This sultry actress broke many hearts when she got married to longtime boyfriend Farhan Azmi in 2009. It is common knowledge that Ayesha got converted to Islam to get married to him. Sadly, there have been reports that the marriage is on the rocks. Not worth it after all!

3 Nargis Dutt

She loved Sunil Dutt at a time when marrying out of your religion was considered a big taboo. But she went ahead and got converted to Hinduism. From Nargis, she became Nirmala Dutt. And the couple disclosed the matrimony only after it was sealed and done. Smart move!

2 Sharmila Tagore

She fell in love with the Nawab when she was at the top of her career. But she gave it all up for her man and got converted to Islam and took the new name of Begum Ayesha Sultana. And let us tell you that it was not a cake walk for them, but they stood their ground.

1 Amrita Singh

Love can make you take impulsive decisions, which you regret a few years down the line. Amrita Singh too was at the top of her career when she fell for a younger struggler Saif. We wonder if she regrets it today. But look at the irony – Saif remarried Kareena, who totally refused to convert and was very happy and proud being a Hindu.

We would love to hear your take on this. Love or compromise?
