Nevada regulators have ordered daily fantasy sports sites like DraftKings and FanDuel to shut down, saying they can’t operate in the state without a gambling license. This has cemented the belief that fantasy sports sites should be treated in the same fashion as a gambling ball site (also called a Judi Bola in Indonesian). The pitfalls of the irresponsible use of either are exactly the same. Parents should also be thinking about how their behavior will influence children. You may wish to read this article here in order to learn more about responsible gambling.

Lemme tell you what fantasy sport is..

A fantasy sport is a game where participants assemble imaginary or virtual teams of real players of a professional sport. You can visit companies similar to DraftKings to see an example, which is still available within the UK and in other states of the US. These teams compete based on the statistical performance of those players in actual games. This performance is converted into points that are compiled and totaled according to a roster selected by each fantasy team’s manager. These point systems can be simple enough to be manually calculated by a league commissioner who coordinates and manages the overall league, or points can be compiled and calculated using computers tracking actual results of the professional sport. In fantasy sports, team owners draft, trade and cut (drop) players, analogously to real sports.

The decision to shut these virtual sports comes amid growing backlash by investigators and regulators over the sites, which have grown in popularity in the past year. The sites insist they are skill-based games and not chance-based wagers, and are therefore not subject to gambling regulations. However, there are some that find using somewhere like https://sportsbook.fanduel.com/ useful to their needs.

Sometimes more than $1 million gets earned by the customers who play these sports..!!

The state’s Gaming Control Board issued a notice saying the sites must stop offering their contests to Nevada residents with immediate effect. The operators face felony fines and 10 years in prison and the regulators say the sites can apply for licenses. Thankfully, sports betting in the UK is still alive and well where people can place mobile bets on sites like Mobile Wins.

Other states that allow gambling are closely watching the developing situation with the daily sites.
