Losing weight is a major job for all those trying to lose weight. And when it comes to weight loss, it is not always a fat person that should come to your mind. Even the slightly healthy people want to lose some more weight and get into a fit body. And if someone tries to tell you that be yourself and love your body. Well, tell them clearly that you do love yourself and all you want is be more in love with self. So try and stay far away from such people who give you free gyaan on being self.
Losing some extra kgs is always beneficial for your body. But the biggest question is always and have always been HOW? To answer that how, here are a few bizarre weight loss tricks you must try.
Jog For Every Missed Call
Now that’s a unique way. Every time you miss a call from somebody take a round of your house, building or office stairs. Something new, yet you will be losing some good kilos.
Hang a mirror where you eat
Where ever you eat, hang a mirror in front of you so that you can see yourself committing the crime (if you are). Based on a study, it was found that if you eat in front of the mirror you will reduce at least one-third of your diet. Looking at yourself, you will be automatically reminded about your goals of losing weight.
Click Click Click!
Before you slurp and lick, CLICK! Another study proves that if you click your food before you eat, it will again reduce the amount of food you would eat. The mirror psychology works.
Candle light after dinner for weight loss
The aroma is shown to dampen dessert cravings. One group of 160 volunteers actually lost an average of 4.5 pounds each by wearing vanilla-scented patches.
Sniffing the right thing
The sniffing here is for the fruits like apple and banana; also pepper mint. It is the most bizarre thing yet quite effective. When Dr Alan R. Hirsch of the Smell & Taste Treatment and Research Foundation in Chicago tried this with 3,000 volunteers, he found that the more frequently people sniffed, the less hungry they were and the more weight they lost—an average of 30 pounds each. One theory is that sniffing the food tricks the brain into thinking you’re actually eating it.
