Chamba, is the place where thousands of years old temples erected by the Rajas of Chamba are still continued to be worshiped by the tourists and locals. Khajjiar

A hill station in Chamba district located 24 Kms from Dalhousie. This place is also known as mini Switzerland of the India. Khajjiar sits on a small plateau with a small stream-fed lake in the middle that has been covered with weeds. This would be one of the best views you would ever see in life.

Akhandi Chand Place

Built between 1747 to 1765 by Raja Umedh Singh, the place was later renovated by Raja Singh with the help of British. Later it was sold to Himachal state Govt. in 1958. Then government changed the building into a museum and a historical site. Now it is a great amalgam of Mughal & British architect.

Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary

This wildlife sanctuary will definitely give you well handshake with nature. Animals like Mammals- bear, Himalayan Black Marten, leopard, deer, Barking Goral, squirrel, serow, jackal, langur. There are trekking trails available at both Khajjiar and Kalatop.

Chamunda Devi Temple

Another marvel built by Raja Umed Singh in 1762, a wooden temple with British & Indian styles of Architect. Temple structure is all made up of wood and there are many other carving & figures of various deities all done with wood.

Bhuri Singh Museum

Manimahesh Lake

Manimahesh Lake is a high altitude lake situated close to the Manimahesh Kailash Peak. Falls in the Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas. It is not just a place for pilgrims but another good option for a trek if you are a keen trekker.

Chobia Pass

Another trekking destination it is the second highest altitude pass in the Pir- Panjal range, an adventurous trek for almost 7 days. Chobia Pass -Trilokinath- Udaipur -Kelong – Rohtang Pass – Manali. It can be one in a life time experience but you definitely need to give it good time. And trust me, this place totally deserves it.
